Collective fermionic excitations in systems with a large chemical potential
Jean-Paul Blaizot, Jean-Yves Ollitrault

TL;DR
This paper investigates fermionic excitations in a cold ultrarelativistic plasma with high chemical potential, explicitly constructing quantum states and highlighting their collective nature at long wavelengths.
Contribution
It provides a detailed construction of quantum states for fermionic excitations in high chemical potential regimes, emphasizing their collective behavior.
Findings
Identification of two excitation branches at high chemical potential
Explicit construction of quantum states for these excitations
Demonstration of the collective nature of long wavelength modes
Abstract
We study fermionic excitations in a cold ultrarelativistic plasma. We construct explicitly the quantum states associated with the two branches which develop in the excitation spectrum as the chemical potential is raised. The collective nature of the long wavelength excitations is clearly exhibited. Email contact: [email protected]
