$O(\tilde d,\tilde d)$ Transformations and 3D Black Hole
Abbas Ali, Alok Kumar

TL;DR
This paper explores how $O( ilde d, ilde d)$ transformations relate various 3D string solutions, including black holes and black strings, extending classical solutions into string theory frameworks.
Contribution
It generalizes previous results to connect 3D black holes and black strings via $O( ilde d, ilde d)$ transformations, extending solutions into string theory.
Findings
Connected 3D black hole solutions with black strings using $O( ilde d, ilde d)$ transformations.
Extended classical black hole solutions into string theory context.
Demonstrated relationships among string solutions in three dimensions.
Abstract
We generalize the results of a previous paper by one of the authors to show a relationship among a class of string solutions through transformations. The results are applied to a rotating black hole solution of three dimensional general relativity discussed recently. We extend the black hole solution to string theory and show its connection with the three dimensional black string with nonzero momentum through an transformation of the above type.
