On the Symmetry Algebra of the Discrete States in $d<2$ Closed String Theory
Sudhakar Panda, Shibaji Roy

TL;DR
This paper constructs symmetry charges for $d<2$ closed string theory and shows they commute and act trivially on physical states, highlighting differences from open string cases.
Contribution
It introduces the symmetry charges for $d<2$ closed string theory and demonstrates their trivial action and commutation properties.
Findings
Symmetry charges commute among themselves.
Symmetry charges act trivially on physical states.
Differences from open string symmetry charges.
Abstract
The Symmetry charges associated with the Lian-Zuckerman states for closed string theory are constructed. Unlike in the open string case, it is shown here that the symmetry charges commute among themselves and act trivially on all the physical states.
