TL;DR
This paper develops a theoretical framework for non-abelian gauge antisymmetric tensor fields, extending Yang-Mills theory and abelian p-forms, with a focus on gauge groups acting as supergroups and generalized Chern-Simons actions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel class of non-abelian gauge antisymmetric tensor fields and constructs generalized Chern-Simons actions, expanding the mathematical structure of gauge theories.
Findings
Gauge group acts as a supergroup on differential forms
Construction of a wide class of generalized Chern-Simons actions
Extension of Yang-Mills and abelian p-form theories
Abstract
We construct the theory of non-abelian gauge antisymmetric tensor fields, which generalize the standard Yang-MIlls fields and abelian gauge p-forms. The corresponding gauge group acts on the space of inhomogeneous differential forms and it is shown to be a supergroup. The wide class of generalized Chern-Simons actions is constructed.
