Wormholes and symmetries of string effective action
S. Pratik Khastgir, Jnanadeva Maharana

TL;DR
This paper derives string effective actions using dimensional reduction, presents wormhole solutions for specific geometries, and employs duality symmetries to generate new solutions, advancing understanding of string theory's geometric structures.
Contribution
It introduces new wormhole solutions in string theory and demonstrates the use of duality and SL(2,R) symmetries to generate additional solutions.
Findings
Wormhole solutions for $R^1\times S^1\times S^2$ and $R^1\times S^3$ geometries.
Application of duality and SL(2,R) symmetries to produce new solutions.
Enhanced understanding of string effective actions and their geometric configurations.
Abstract
The dimensional reduction technique is adopted to derive string effective action. Wormhole solutions corresponding to space-time geometries and are presented. The duality and SL(2,R) symmetries are implemented to generate new wormhole solutions.
