Heterotic Parafermionic Superstring
Paul H. Frampton, James T. Liu

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new heterotic superstring model combining bosonic and parafermionic components, revealing new identities and constraints that enhance the understanding of string theory's structure and potential physical applications.
Contribution
It presents a novel heterotic superstring construction using $Z_4$ parafermions and bosonic left-movers, with new identities and anomaly cancellation constraints.
Findings
Discovery of new parafermionic identities
Constraints on chiral fermions from anomaly cancellation
A more constrained yet applicable heterotic superstring model
Abstract
Superstrings have been postulated based on parafermionic partition functions which permit spacetime supersymmetry by generalized Jacobi identities. A comprehensive search finds new such identities. Quadrilateral anomaly cancellation gives constraints on allowed chiral fermions. Bosonic left-movers and parafermionic right-movers combine in a new heterotic superstring, more constrained than the old one, yet equally applicable to physics.
