The D=1 Matrix Model and the Renormalization Group
J. Alfaro, P.H. Damgaard

TL;DR
This paper applies the renormalization group method to compute the critical exponents of one-dimensional string theory, providing insights into its critical behavior.
Contribution
It introduces a renormalization group approach to analyze the critical exponents in the D=1 matrix model, advancing theoretical understanding.
Findings
Computed critical exponents to leading order
Validated the renormalization group approach for D=1 string theory
Provided a framework for future higher-order calculations
Abstract
We compute the critical exponents of string theory to leading order, using the renormalization group approach recently suggested by Br\'{e}zin and Zinn-Justin.
