Gauged String Actions and O($\tilde{d}$, $\tilde{d}$) Transformation
Alok Kumar

TL;DR
This paper introduces an O(tilde{d}, tilde{d}) transformation that connects ungauged and gauged string actions, highlighting its background independence and unique matrix form across various models.
Contribution
It presents a novel background-independent O(tilde{d}, tilde{d}) transformation linking ungauged and gauged string actions for a broad class of models.
Findings
Transformation is background independent.
Unique matrix representation in each space-time dimension.
Applies to models discussed by Giveon and Rocek.
Abstract
An O(, ) transformation is given which relates ungauged string actions to the gauged ones for a large class of models discussed recently by Giveon and Rocek. Interestingly, the transformation is background independent and has a unique matrix representation in a given space-time dimension.
