TL;DR
This paper analyzes the asymptotic behavior of two-dimensional black hole solutions within the CGHS dilaton gravity model, revealing time-dependent solutions with finite mass and solutions in the Liouville region.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the asymptotic solutions of 2D black holes in the large N limit of the CGHS model, including time-dependent and Liouville region solutions.
Findings
Time-dependent solutions with finite mass and zero flux identified.
Solutions entirely in the Liouville region characterized.
Behavior in the weak coupling regime analyzed.
Abstract
We consider the solutions of the field equations for the large dilaton gravity model in dimensions recently proposed by Callan, Giddings, Harvey and Strominger (CGHS). We find time dependant solutions with finite mass and vanishing flux in the weak coupling regime, as well as solutions which lie entirely in the Liouville region.
