P. Berglund, T. H\"ubsch

TL;DR
This paper extends the method for constructing mirror pairs of superconformal field theories, enabling the generation of mirror manifolds for a broader class of Calabi-Yau hypersurfaces in weighted projective spaces.
Contribution
It introduces a generalized approach using Landau-Ginzburg orbifolds to construct mirror pairs, expanding the set of known mirror manifolds.
Findings
Constructed new mirror pairs for previously unknown Calabi-Yau manifolds
Generalized the Landau-Ginzburg orbifold formalism for mirror symmetry
Facilitated explicit mirror construction for a wider class of hypersurfaces
Abstract
We generalize the known method for explicit construction of mirror pairs of -superconformal field theories, using the formalism of Landau-Ginzburg orbifolds. Geometrically, these theories are realized as Calabi-Yau hypersurfaces in weighted projective spaces. This generalization makes it possible to construct the mirror partners of many manifolds for which the mirror was not previously known.
