Symmetries and Special States in Two Dimensional String Theory
Ulf H. Danielsson

TL;DR
This paper explores the use of W-infinity symmetry in c=1 quantum gravity to compute special state correlation functions, confirming their consistency with Liouville model predictions.
Contribution
It introduces a method to compute matrix model correlation functions using W-infinity symmetry and validates results against Liouville theory.
Findings
Correlation functions computed using W-infinity symmetry match Liouville model predictions
The approach provides new insights into symmetries in 2D string theory
Results support the consistency between matrix models and continuum Liouville theory
Abstract
We use the W-infinity symmetry of c=1 quantum gravity to compute matrix model special state correlation functions. The results are compared, and found to agree, with expectations from the Liouville model.
