Quantizing Strings in de Sitter Space
Miao Li, Wei Song, Yushu Song

TL;DR
This paper quantizes a string in de Sitter space, revealing that the mass spectrum is altered by a term dependent on the oscillation numbers and the Hubble constant, indicating effects of spacetime expansion on string properties.
Contribution
It introduces a quantization of strings in de Sitter space and derives the modified mass spectrum considering spacetime curvature effects.
Findings
Mass spectrum is modified by a quadratic term in oscillating numbers.
The modification is proportional to the square of the Hubble constant.
Results highlight the influence of de Sitter spacetime on string properties.
Abstract
We quantize a string in the de Sitter background, and we find that the mass spectrum is modified by a term which is quadratic in oscillating numbers, and also proportional to the square of the Hubble constant.
