Gabriel Lopes Cardoso, Johannes M. Oberreuter, Jan Perz

TL;DR
This paper develops an entropy function for rotating extremal black holes in five-dimensional N=2 supergravity with cubic prepotentials, linking 4D and 5D solutions and constructing attractor solutions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel entropy function for rotating extremal black holes in five dimensions, based on the relation to four-dimensional supergravity solutions.
Findings
Defined the entropy function for five-dimensional rotating extremal black holes.
Constructed two types of solutions to the attractor equations.
Linked extremal black hole solutions in 4D and 5D supergravity.
Abstract
We use the relation between extremal black hole solutions in five- and in four-dimensional N=2 supergravity theories with cubic prepotentials to define the entropy function for extremal black holes with one angular momentum in five dimensions. We construct two types of solutions to the associated attractor equations.
