Anton Ilderton, Martin Lavelle, David McMullan

TL;DR
This paper constructs a broad class of Gribov copies in Coulomb gauge SU(2) gauge theory, revealing their non-perturbative nature and demonstrating how they hinder a non-perturbative definition of colour charge.
Contribution
It introduces a wide class of Gribov copies in Coulomb gauge SU(2) gauge theory and analyzes their non-perturbative implications.
Findings
Infinitesimal copies are explicitly studied.
Non-perturbative nature of copies is demonstrated.
Copies prevent a non-perturbative definition of colour charge.
Abstract
In this paper we construct a wide class of Gribov copies in Coulomb gauge SU(2) gauge theory. Infinitesimal copies are studied in some detail and their non-perturbative nature is made manifest. As an application it is shown that the copies prevent a non-perturbative definition of colour charge.
