E.Yu. Melkumova, D.V. Gal'tsov, K. Salehi

TL;DR
This paper calculates the radiation of dilaton and axion particles from cosmic string collisions and estimates their potential impact on early universe cosmology.
Contribution
It introduces a method to compute dilaton and axion bremsstrahlung from string collisions and provides cosmological density estimates.
Findings
Dilaton and axion radiation can be produced during cosmic string collisions.
Estimated densities suggest possible cosmological significance.
The mechanism contributes to understanding particle production in the early universe.
Abstract
We calculate dilaton and axion radiation generated in the collision of two straight initially unexcited strings and give a rough cosmological estimate of dilaton and axion densities produced via this mechanism in the early universe.
