TL;DR
This paper proves that 3D Yang-Mills theories with a mass term in the Landau gauge are ultraviolet finite at all orders, ensuring their consistency and renormalizability.
Contribution
It demonstrates the all-order ultraviolet finiteness of 3D Yang-Mills theories with a mass term in specific gauges, extending previous results.
Findings
Ultraviolet finiteness proven to all orders
Extension to Curci-Ferrari gauge established
Mass term preserves renormalizability
Abstract
We prove that three-dimensional Yang-Mills theories in the Landau gauge supplemented with a infrared regulating, parity preserving mass term are ultraviolet finite to all orders. We also extend this result to the Curci-Ferrari gauge.
