Statistical entropy of three-dimensional q-deformed Kerr-de Sitter space
Michael C. Abbott, David A. Lowe

TL;DR
This paper calculates the entropy of three-dimensional q-deformed Kerr-de Sitter space using a quantum deformation approach, achieving agreement with semiclassical results, thus providing a quantum perspective on de Sitter entropy.
Contribution
It introduces a quantum deformation framework to compute the entropy of Kerr-de Sitter space, aligning quantum and semiclassical results.
Findings
Quantum deformation reproduces semiclassical entropy.
Agreement between quantum and classical entropy calculations.
Supports quantum approaches to de Sitter space thermodynamics.
Abstract
A quantum deformation of three-dimensional de Sitter space was proposed in hep-th/0407188. We use this to calculate the entropy of Kerr-de Sitter space, using a canonical ensemble, and find agreement with the semiclassical result.
