TL;DR
This paper develops a non-relativistic action for non-BPS Dp-branes and investigates tachyon kink solutions, proposing they represent non-relativistic D(p-1)-branes, thus extending brane dynamics understanding.
Contribution
It introduces a non-relativistic formulation for non-BPS Dp-branes and analyzes tachyon kink solutions as non-relativistic D(p-1)-branes, a novel perspective in brane theory.
Findings
Tachyon kink solutions correspond to non-relativistic D(p-1)-branes.
The constructed action captures key properties of non-BPS Dp-branes in a non-relativistic setting.
The work provides a new framework for studying brane dynamics beyond relativistic regimes.
Abstract
We construct non-relativistic non-BPS Dp-brane action. Then we will study the properties of the tachyon kink solution on its world-volume. We will argue that this tachyon kink describes non-relativistic D(p-1)-brane.
