A note on N=(2,2) superfields in two dimensions
Joris Maes, Alexander Sevrin

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the types of superfields permissible in two-dimensional N=(2,2) supersymmetry, confirming that only chiral, twisted-chiral, and semi-chiral superfields are allowed, and discusses related subtleties.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of linear constraints on N=(2,2) superfields, establishing the exclusivity of certain superfield types and clarifying associated subtleties.
Findings
Only chiral, twisted-chiral, and semi-chiral superfields are possible.
Clarification of subtleties in superfield constraints.
Provides a comprehensive analysis of N=(2,2) superfield constraints.
Abstract
Motivated by the results in {\tt hep-th/0508228}, we perform a careful analysis of the allowed linear constraints on scalar superfields. We show that only chiral, twisted-chiral and semi-chiral superfields are possible. Various subtleties are discussed.
