TL;DR
This paper studies 1/2-BPS Wilson-'t Hooft loops in ${ m ext{N}=4}$ Super-Yang-Mills theory, calculating their all-genus contributions using D-branes and confirming results via gauge theory dualities.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive calculation of Wilson-'t Hooft loops using D-branes with electric and magnetic charges, matching gauge theory predictions.
Findings
All-genus contributions computed with D-branes.
Results agree with supersymmetric and duality predictions.
Validates the holographic duality for these loops.
Abstract
We investigate the 1/2-BPS Wilson-'t Hooft loops in Super-Yang-Mills theory. We use the bulk D-brane with both electric and magnetic charges to calculate the all genus contribution of the circular loops. The expectation value of Wilson-'t Hooft loops are in perfect agreement with the result through supersymmetric condition and duality transformation in the gauge theory.
