TL;DR
This paper presents new calculations of Casimir energy for massless scalar fields in various 3D cavities, exploring how the shape influences the energy's sign and magnitude.
Contribution
It introduces novel Casimir energy results for specific 3D cavities and analyzes the relationship between cavity shape and energy characteristics.
Findings
Energy sign varies with cavity shape
Magnitude of Casimir energy depends on geometry
Shape-energy correlation established
Abstract
New Casimir energy results for massless scalar field in some 3 -dimensional cavities are presented. We attempted to discuss the correlation between the sign and the magnitude of the energy and the shape of the cavities.
