Updates in local supersymmmetry and its spontaneous breaking
Gianguido Dall'Agata, Sergio Ferrara

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent progress in understanding how local supersymmetry is spontaneously broken in four-dimensional theories derived from string and M-theory compactifications with fluxes.
Contribution
It provides an overview of new developments in local supersymmetry breaking mechanisms involving fluxes in string and M-theory compactifications.
Findings
Insights into flux-induced supersymmetry breaking
Connections between fluxes and effective field theories
Advances in understanding string/M-theory compactifications
Abstract
We give a basic review of some recent developments in local supersymmetry breaking in 4-dimensional effective theories coming from compactifications of string and M-theory in the presence of non-trivial form and geometrical fluxes.
