Volker Braun, Sakura Schafer-Nameki

TL;DR
This paper constructs Gepner models using coset conformal field theories and computes their twisted equivariant K-theories to classify D-brane charges, confirming agreement with topological K-theories for various cases including the Fermat quintic.
Contribution
It introduces a method to compute D-brane charges in Gepner models via twisted equivariant K-theory, establishing their correspondence with topological K-theory.
Findings
D-brane charges in Gepner models match topological K-theory predictions
Explicit calculations for the Fermat quintic case
Validation of the K-theoretic classification of D-branes
Abstract
We construct Gepner models in terms of coset conformal field theories and compute their twisted equivariant K-theories. These classify the D-brane charges on the associated geometric backgrounds and therefore agree with the topological K-theories. We show this agreement for various cases, in particular the Fermat quintic.
