Can we implement the holographic principle in asymptotically flat spacetimes?
Claudio Dappiaggi (Pavia U.)

TL;DR
This paper explores the possibility of applying the holographic principle to asymptotically flat spacetimes, focusing on the candidate dual theory at null infinity and its symmetry properties.
Contribution
It introduces the key components of a potential dual theory at null infinity that respects the asymptotic symmetries of flat spacetimes.
Findings
Identification of the candidate dual theory at null infinity
Analysis of invariance under asymptotic symmetry group
Discussion of recent progress in holography for flat spacetimes
Abstract
We discuss some recent results in the quest to implement the holographic principle in asymptotically flat spacetimes. In particular we introduce the key ingredients of the candidate dual theory which lives at null infinity and it is invariant under the asymptotic symmetry group of this class of spacetimes.
