TL;DR
This paper explores the properties of a universe modeled as a brane within a curved five-dimensional bulk spacetime, analyzing its gravitational and cosmological implications.
Contribution
It investigates the gravitational and cosmological characteristics of brane-world scenarios with curved five-dimensional bulk spacetimes, extending previous models.
Findings
Insights into gravitational behavior in curved bulk spacetimes
Implications for cosmological evolution in brane-world models
Enhanced understanding of the universe's higher-dimensional embedding
Abstract
In brane-worlds, our universe is assumed to be a submanifold, or brane, embedded in a higher-dimensional bulk spacetime. Focusing on scenarios with a curved five-dimensional bulk spacetime, I discuss their gravitational and cosmological properties.
