D-branes and geometrical kappa-symmetry
D. T. Reimers

TL;DR
This paper introduces new superspace formulations for D-branes that eliminate the need for worldvolume gauge fields and demonstrates their kappa-symmetry, advancing the theoretical understanding of D-brane dynamics.
Contribution
It constructs D-brane actions using extended superspaces linked to topological charge algebras, showing these actions are kappa-symmetric without gauge fields.
Findings
D-brane actions without worldvolume gauge fields
Kappa-symmetry demonstrated for new superspace actions
Use of topological charge algebras in D-brane theory
Abstract
New extended superspaces associated with topological charge algebras of the D-brane are used to construct D-brane actions without worldvolume gauge fields. The actions are shown to be kappa-symmetric under an appropriately chosen right group action.
