V. Elias, D.G.C. McKeon

TL;DR
This paper explores the exact computation of the effective action and coupling relations in supersymmetric theories using known exact beta-functions, enhancing understanding of renormalization group flows.
Contribution
It demonstrates how exact beta-functions enable precise calculations of the effective action and coupling relationships in supersymmetric models and specific background configurations.
Findings
Exact beta-functions allow for precise effective action calculations.
Relationship between MS and SUSY schemes clarified in N=1 super Yang-Mills.
Provides insights into renormalization group behavior in supersymmetric theories.
Abstract
The perturbative -function is known exactly in a number of supersymmetric theories and in the 't Hooft renormalization scheme in the model. It is shown how this allows one to compute the effective action exactly for certain background field configurations and to relate bare and renormalized couplings. The relationship between the MS and SUSY subtraction schemes in super Yang-Mills theory is discussed.
