TL;DR
This paper investigates specific half-BPS solutions in M-theory that are derived from separable solutions of the 3-d continuum Toda equation, providing insights into their structure and properties.
Contribution
It introduces a class of half-BPS M-theory solutions based on separable solutions of the Toda equation, expanding the known solution space.
Findings
Identification of separable solutions to the Toda equation relevant to M-theory
Explicit construction of new half-BPS solutions
Analysis of the properties of these solutions
Abstract
It was recently shown that half BPS-solutions of M-theory can be expressed in terms of a single function satisfying the 3-d continuum Toda equation. In this note half-BPS solutions corresponding to separable solutions of the Toda equations are examined.
