The matrix factorisations of the D-model
Ilka Brunner, Matthias R Gaberdiel

TL;DR
This paper identifies the fundamental matrix factorizations of the D-model superpotential and relates them to boundary states in conformal field theory, with implications for surface singularities and orbifold descriptions.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of matrix factorizations for the D-model superpotential and connects them to boundary states and surface singularity theory.
Findings
Fundamental matrix factorizations of the D-model are explicitly constructed.
Boundary states in conformal field theory are identified with these factorizations.
The analysis applies to both GSO-projections, enriching the understanding of the model.
Abstract
The fundamental matrix factorisations of the D-model superpotential are found and identified with the boundary states of the corresponding conformal field theory. The analysis is performed for both GSO-projections. We also comment on the relation of this analysis to the theory of surface singularities and their orbifold description.
