Bum-Hoon Lee, Jong-won Lee, Chanyong Park, Hyun Seok Yang

TL;DR
This paper explores new supersymmetric D-brane configurations in type IIB plane wave backgrounds by introducing background fluxes and boosts, expanding the known landscape of supersymmetric branes.
Contribution
It demonstrates that turning on electric/magnetic fluxes or boosting D-branes yields many new supersymmetric configurations in the plane wave background.
Findings
Discovery of new supersymmetric D-branes with fluxes and boosts
Extension of previous classifications of D-branes in plane wave backgrounds
Potential implications for string theory and gauge/gravity duality
Abstract
We extend the study on D-branes in the type IIB plane wave background to less supersymmetric configurations. We show that many new supersymmetric D-branes can be found by turning on electric as well as magnetic background fluxes, or constantly boosting D-branes.
