H. Otsu, T. Sato, H. Ikemori, S. Kitakado

TL;DR
This paper explores the connection between soliton solutions in a noncommutative sigma model and those in an electron system, revealing shared topological classifications using operator formalism.
Contribution
It demonstrates that certain solitons in the sigma model correspond directly to solitons in the electron system, classified by the same topological numbers.
Findings
Some sigma model solitons are also electron system solitons
Solitons are classified by identical topological numbers
Operator formalism effectively links the two systems
Abstract
We study the relationship of soliton solutions for electron system with those of the sigma model on the noncommutative space, working directly in the operator formalism. We find that some soliton solutions of the sigma model are also the solitons of the electron system and are classified by the same topological numbers.
