TL;DR
This paper explores the connection between MHV graviton amplitudes and twistor space, suggesting a potential twistor-string framework for ${ m extbf{N}=8}$ supergravity, inspired by analogous structures in Yang-Mills theory.
Contribution
It establishes a relation between MHV graviton amplitudes and twistor space correlators, proposing a new approach for supergravity amplitude construction.
Findings
MHV graviton amplitudes relate to twistor space correlators
Potential for a twistor-string formulation of ${ m extbf{N}=8}$ supergravity
Analogies with Yang-Mills theory structures
Abstract
We show how the maximally helicity violating (MHV) scattering amplitudes for gravitons can be related to current correlators and vertex operators in twistor space. This is similar to what happens in Yang-Mills theory and raises the possibility of a direct twistor-string-like construction for supergravity.
