L. Bonora, C. Maccaferri, R.J. Scherer Santos, D.D. Tolla

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that vacuum string field theory includes exact solutions resembling macroscopic fundamental strings, formed by condensates of localized D0-branes, revealing new insights into string configurations.
Contribution
It introduces a novel class of exact solutions in vacuum string field theory representing fundamental strings as condensates of D0-branes.
Findings
Exact solutions interpreted as macroscopic strings
Strings formed by condensates of D0-branes
New perspective on string configurations in SFT
Abstract
In this letter we show that vacuum string field theory contains exact solutions that can be interpreted as macroscopic fundamental strings. They are formed by a condensate of infinitely many completely space-localized solutions (D0-branes).
