Closed inflationary universe models in Braneworld Cosmology
Sergio del Campo, Ramon Herrera, Joel Saavedra

TL;DR
This paper explores closed inflationary universe models within braneworld cosmology, analyzing how a self-interacting scalar field can produce an inflationary stage and comparing results to traditional General Relativity.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of closed inflationary models in braneworld cosmology, extending Linde's models beyond General Relativity.
Findings
Existence conditions for closed universes in braneworld scenarios
Comparison of inflationary dynamics between braneworld and General Relativity
Characterization of scalar field behavior during inflation
Abstract
In this article we study closed inflationary universe models proposed by Linde in a brane world cosmological context. In this scenario we determine and characterize the existence of a closed universe, in presence of one self-interacting scalar field with an inflationary stage. Our results are compared to those found in General Relativity.
