TL;DR
This paper analyzes type IIB $Z_N$ orientifolds with flux, computing flux-induced tadpoles and superpotentials to explore moduli stabilization, supersymmetric vacua, and brane configurations, including partial moduli fixing with anti D3-branes.
Contribution
It provides explicit calculations of flux effects and identifies conditions for moduli stabilization and supersymmetric vacua in $Z_N$ orientifolds, including brane configurations.
Findings
Found supersymmetric vacua with $g_s<1$
Identified brane configurations with canceled tadpoles
Showed partial moduli fixing unless anti D3-branes are included
Abstract
We compute the flux induced tadpole and superpotential in various type IIB compact orientifolds in order to study moduli stabilization. We find supersymmetric vacua with and describe brane configurations with cancelled tadpoles. In some cases moduli are only partially fixed unless anti D3-branes are included.
