Corrections to the Cardy-Verlinde formula from the generalized uncertainty principle
M. R. Setare

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the generalized uncertainty principle modifies the Cardy-Verlinde entropy formula for Schwarzschild black holes, showing that corrections can be incorporated through redefinitions of key parameters.
Contribution
It introduces a method to include GUP-induced corrections into the Cardy-Verlinde formula by redefining the Virasoro operator and central charge.
Findings
GUP leads to specific corrections in the entropy formula.
Corrections can be absorbed by parameter redefinitions.
Provides a framework for quantum gravity effects on black hole entropy.
Abstract
In this letter, we compute the corrections to the Cardy-Verlinde formula of dimensional Schwarzschild black hole. These corrections stem from the generalized uncertainty principle. Then we show, one can taking into account the generalized uncertainty principle corrections of the Cardy-Verlinde entropy formula by just redefining the Virasoro operator and the central charge .
