The Casimir effect at finite temperature in the presence of compactified universal extra dimensions
Hongbo Cheng

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the finite-temperature Casimir effect between parallel plates considering compactified universal extra dimensions, detailing thermal corrections and effects of varying extra dimension sizes.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of thermal corrections to the Casimir effect with universal extra dimensions of different sizes, extending previous zero-temperature studies.
Findings
Thermal corrections significantly affect the Casimir force.
Size of extra dimensions influences the magnitude of the Casimir effect.
Results provide insights for experiments involving extra dimensions and finite temperature.
Abstract
In this paper the Casimir effect for parallel plates at finite temperature in the presence of compactified universal extra dimensions is analyzed. We show the thermal corrections to the effect in detail. We investigate the Casimir effect for different size of universal extra dimensions.
