Divergences in QED on a Graph
Nahomi Kan, Kiyoshi Shiraishi (Yamaguchi University)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the divergences that occur in a quantum electrodynamics model defined on a graph, using the background field method to analyze one-loop divergences.
Contribution
It introduces a QED model on a graph and analyzes its one-loop divergences using the background field method, providing insights into divergence behavior in discrete structures.
Findings
Identifies the nature of divergences in QED on a graph
Uses background field method for divergence analysis
Provides a framework for studying QED divergences on discrete structures
Abstract
We consider a model of quantum electrodynamics (QED) on a graph. The one-loop divergences in the model are investigated by use of the background field method.
