Tadashi Takayanagi

TL;DR
This paper proposes a matrix model dual for a two-dimensional type IIA string theory with RR-flux, describing a Majorana fermion, and analyzes its scattering amplitudes in both world-sheet and matrix model frameworks.
Contribution
It introduces a novel matrix model dual for a 2D type IIA string theory with RR-flux, expanding the understanding of non-perturbative formulations.
Findings
Matrix model dual successfully reproduces scattering amplitudes
Majorana fermion dynamics captured in the dual model
Provides insights into non-perturbative aspects of 2D type IIA strings
Abstract
We consider a type IIA-like string theory with RR-flux in two dimension and propose its matrix model dual. This string theory describes a Majorana fermion in the two dimensional spacetime. We also discuss its scattering amplitudes both in the world-sheet theory and in the matrix model.
