TL;DR
This paper applies the Symplectic Projector Method to analyze the physical degrees of freedom and Hamiltonian of 3D Maxwell-Chern-Simons theory, confirming previous results with a new approach.
Contribution
It introduces the Symplectic Projector Method to derive physical variables and Hamiltonian in Maxwell-Chern-Simons theory, providing an alternative to existing methods.
Findings
Physical degrees of freedom identified
Physical Hamiltonian derived
Results consistent with previous literature
Abstract
The Symplectic Projector Method is applied to derive the local physical degrees of freedom and the physical Hamiltonian of the Maxwell-Chern-Simons theory in . The results agree with the ones obtained in the literature through different approaches.
