Ulf Lindstrom, Ruben Minasian, Alessandro Tomasiello, Maxim Zabzine

TL;DR
This paper introduces a worldsheet model that realizes generalized complex geometry, bridging complex and symplectic structures, and extends the Poisson sigma model to incorporate supersymmetry.
Contribution
It provides a supersymmetric worldsheet realization of generalized complex geometry, connecting it with string theory models.
Findings
Constructed a supersymmetric model related to generalized complex geometry
Extended the Poisson sigma model to include supersymmetry
Bridged geometric structures with string worldsheet theories
Abstract
We find a worldsheet realization of generalized complex geometry, a notion introduced recently by Hitchin which interpolates between complex and symplectic manifolds. The two-dimensional model we construct is a supersymmetric relative of the Poisson sigma model used in context of deformation quantization.
