TL;DR
This paper analyzes the distribution and quantity of different types of flux vacua in type IIB string theory compactified on Calabi-Yau manifolds, providing insights into their statistical properties and related attractor points.
Contribution
It presents new results on the enumeration and distribution of supersymmetric and nonsupersymmetric flux vacua in Calabi-Yau compactifications, comparing with attractor point problems.
Findings
Quantitative estimates of flux vacua distributions
Comparison between supersymmetric and nonsupersymmetric vacua
Insights into attractor point counting
Abstract
We give results for the distribution and number of flux vacua of various types, supersymmetric and nonsupersymmetric, in IIb string theory compactified on Calabi-Yau manifolds. We compare this with related problems such as counting attractor points.
