TL;DR
This paper proposes a holographic dark energy model linking the infrared cut-off to the event horizon, predicting a current equation of state parameter of w=-0.90 and addressing the cosmic coincidence problem through inflation.
Contribution
It introduces a holographic dark energy model based on the event horizon as the infrared cut-off, providing predictions consistent with observations and offering a solution to the coincidence problem.

Links infrared cut-off to the event horizon
Abstract
A model for holographic dark energy is proposed, following the idea that the short distance cut-off is related to the infrared cut-off. We assume that the infrared cut-off relevant to the dark energy is the size of the event horizon. With the input , we predict the equation of state of the dark energy at the present time be characterized by . The cosmic coincidence problem can be resolved by inflation in our scenario, provided we assume the minimal number of e-folds.
