Distribution functions for hard thermal particles in QCD
Josif frenkel, John C Taylor

TL;DR
This paper derives a closed-form distribution function for hot colored particles in a gluon background within QCD, using the hard thermal loop approximation, and confirms its consistency with the effective action approach.
Contribution
It provides a new closed-form expression for the distribution function of hot colored particles in QCD, linking it to the effective action.
Findings
Derived a closed-form distribution function for hot colored particles.
Verified the distribution function matches the current from the effective action.
Enhanced understanding of particle distributions in hot QCD environments.
Abstract
We find a closed-form for the distribution function (defined in terms of a Wigner operator) for hot coloured particles in a background gluon field, in the hard thermal loop approximation. We verify that the current is the same as that derived from the known effective action.
