TL;DR
This paper constructs Euclidean supergravity solutions with multiple boundaries, exploring their implications for the AdS/CFT correspondence and the physics of closed universes, which are puzzling from the standard duality perspective.
Contribution
It introduces new supergravity solutions with multiple boundaries and discusses their potential to shed light on closed universe physics within AdS/CFT.
Findings
Multiple boundary solutions are constructed in Euclidean supergravity.
These configurations challenge the conventional AdS/CFT correspondence.
Insights into the physics of closed universes are suggested.
Abstract
We construct a few Euclidean supergravity solutions with multiple boundaries. We consider examples where the corresponding boundary field theory is well defined on each boundary. We point out that these configurations are puzzling from the AdS/CFT point of view. A proper understanding of the AdS/CFT dictionary for these cases might yield some information about the physics of closed universes.
