Masa-aki Taniguchi, Shozo Uehara, Satoshi Yamada, Koichi Yamawaki

TL;DR
This paper introduces a method to restore Lorentz invariance in the perturbative S matrix within DLCQ without disrupting the trivial vacuum, by taking the continuum limit.
Contribution
It presents a novel approach to recover Lorentz invariance in DLCQ, addressing a key challenge in light-cone quantization.
Findings
Lorentz invariance is restored in the continuum limit
The trivial vacuum is preserved during the process
The method improves the consistency of DLCQ with relativistic symmetry
Abstract
We propose a way to recover Lorentz invariance of the perturbative S matrix in the Discrete Light-Cone Quantization (DLCQ) in the continuum limit without spoiling the trivial vacuum.
