The Schrodinger Wave Functional and Closed String Rolling Tachyon
J. Kluson

TL;DR
This paper uses the Schrödinger picture in minisuperspace to analyze closed string tachyon condensation, showing rapid production of closed strings reaching string density within a short time frame.
Contribution
It introduces a Schrödinger picture approach to closed string tachyon condensation and quantifies the rate of closed string production in this context.
Findings
High massive closed string modes reach string density quickly.
The rate of closed string production is calculated.
Time scale for reaching string density is of order one in string units.
Abstract
In this short note we apply Schrodinger picture description of the minisuperspace approach to the closed string tachyon condensation. We will calculate the rate of produced closed string and we will show that the density of high massive closed string modes reaches the string density in time of order one in string units.
