Noncommutativity and Its Freedoms Due to the PP-Wave and Background Gauge Fields
Davoud Kamani

TL;DR
This paper investigates how pp-wave backgrounds and gauge fields influence the noncommutative geometry of open strings attached to D-branes, focusing on the effects of string mass and background fields on noncommutativity parameters.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of open string dynamics in pp-wave backgrounds with gauge fields, highlighting the role of string mass and free matrices in noncommutativity.
Findings
String mass affects the open string propagator and metric.
Free matrices appear in propagator and open string variables.
Symmetries impose restrictions on these matrices.
Abstract
In this article we consider an open string attached to a D-brane, in the presence of the pp-wave and background gauge fields. The effects of the string mass on the open string propagator, open string metric and the noncommutativity parameter are studied. Some free matrices appear in the propagator and in the open string variables. The symmetries of the string propagator and consistency with the zero mass case put some restrictions on these matrices.
