Intersecting D-branes in Type IIB Plane Wave Background
Kyung-Seok Cha, Bum-Hoon Lee, Hyun Seok Yang

TL;DR
This paper investigates the properties of intersecting D-branes in a type IIB plane wave background, focusing on supersymmetry preservation, explicit supercharges, and their algebraic structures using Green-Schwarz formalism.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive analysis of all possible intersecting D-branes at angles in the plane wave background, including supersymmetry preservation and explicit supercharge expressions.
Findings
$D_ ext{pm} - D_ ext{pm}$ branes can preserve some supersymmetry.
$D_ ext{mp} - D_ ext{pm}$ branes preserve no supersymmetry.
Explicit supercharges and supersymmetry algebra are derived.
Abstract
We study intersecting D-branes in a type IIB plane wave background using Green-Schwarz worldsheet formulation. We consider all possible -branes intersecting at angles in the plane wave background and identify their residual supersymmetries. We find, in particular, that brane intersections preserve no supersymmetry. We also present the explicit worldsheet expressions of conserved supercharges and their supersymmetry algebras.
