Effective de Sitter brane via running radius
Nobuhiro Uekusa

TL;DR
This paper develops a renormalization group approach to analyze effective couplings on a running de Sitter brane, revealing constant effective tension and discussing suppression of higher derivative terms.
Contribution
It introduces a novel RG formalism for linearized gravity in a two de Sitter brane model, providing insights into effective tension and higher derivative term suppression.
Findings
Effective tension remains constant on the running de Sitter brane.
Higher derivative terms are suppressed in the effective theory.
The RG formalism offers a new perspective on brane-world gravity.
Abstract
We present the solution for effective couplings on a running de Sitter brane. A renormalization group formalism is developed for linearized gravity in a two de Sitter brane model. It is shown that the effective tension remains a constant similarly to the zero cosmological constant case. We also discuss the suppression of higher derivative terms.
